VISOR
DEL ALCOR has great transportation with SEVILLA, MADRID and other Andalucian
cities since it is situated ten km from the highway MALAGA-SEVILLA, as well as
the CORDOBA-SEVILLA highway, and fifteen km from the airport. The
Visor del Alcor plains, of Roman background, after the conquest of the Arabs
it passed over to their domain. First called “VISUS” due to its location
it had an excellent panoramic view, which was used as a viewpoint or
watchtower to guard the surroundings. “DEL ALCOR” was put by the Arabs
which means the “top or hill”. In the town one can visit the following monuments: Condes de Cautelar Palace of the XVII century
